She capped her impressive run by choosing Global Glow in the second from Atlantic City; sent off at 9.50-1, in a starter allowance, he led throughout and just held off late-running Outhaul, a victory that put $31.20 in her mythical bankroll.
Dan Herman, who cashed on each of the first five legs, came in second with $68.30 in winnings, holding off the late charge of Bobby Zen.
The next seven contestants were within $14 of each other.
Gaudet earns a Maryland Million swag bag with her win.
Every participant in Saturday’s contest is automatically entered in a Grand Prize drawing for a VIP Package to this year’s Maryland Million and other prizes. In addition, those who finished in the top five of the tournament receive a second entry in that drawing.
