From a Maryland Jockey Club release
The Maryland Jockey Club’s Totally Thoroughbred Horse Show, to be held at historic Pimlico Race Course Saturday, July 11, will have prize money totaling more than $17,000 with the featured class of the day the $7,500 Hillwood Stable Jumper Speed Stakes.
Pre-entries can be e-mailed until noon on Friday, July 10 to [email protected]. Entries can also be made day of show (there will be an office fee). The horse show office will open at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11.
Stabling is available at Pimlico from Friday at noon through Sunday at 9 a.m. for $30 per stall. For stabling information contact Dennis Martin at 443.324.8445.
The Totally Thoroughbred Horse Show will have numerous classes available for horses who will show under their registered Jockey Club name. Vendor row will include jewelry, equestrian items and information about Thoroughbred organizations. T-shirts and caps will also be available with all proceeds going to the beneficiaries. Rafflepaloozza will offer tickets for $1 or six tickets for $5. Total prizes will be worth more than $2,000.
Proceeds will benefit Mid-Atlantic Horse Rescue and the Foxie G Foundation.
