Off to the Races on The Racing Biz Radio Network returns to talk horse racing Saturday, February 11.
The one-hour program will air at 10:00 a.m. each Saturday on Richmond’s ESPN 950 AM and Sports FM 100.5. Additional stations will be announced as they come online.
The show will focus on Thoroughbred racing and breeding around the mid-Atlantic region and across the country.
“We are excited to renew Off to the Races on The Racing Biz Radio Network for 2017,” said Frank Vespe, owner-publisher of The Racing Biz. “The program has been a staple of the Virginia racing scene for nearly two decades, and we’re looking forward to adding more stations to provide better geographic coverage in the weeks and months to come.”
The program will air in the 10:00 a.m. timeslot each Saturday through mid-July.
Off to the Races includes race reviews, features, news and handicapping. It will bring the best of the region’s — and the nation’s — racing to the airwaves.
It will also incorporate many familiar voices, including longtime host Nick Hahn, former Colonial Downs on-air handicapper Derby Bill Watson, and Vespe, of The Racing Biz.
In addition to terrestrial radio, the show will be available through livestreaming and through an online audio vault.
