Following approval by the West Virginia Racing Commission, the first four months of Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races’ live calendar for 2020 have been set with 60 days of live racing slated to be conducted from January 8 through April 18 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
Post time for the first race is scheduled for 7:00 P.M. EST on these days, with the exception of Charles Town Classic day, currently expected to be on April 18, which carries a 12:30 P.M. start time.
While the track has submitted a request for a 173-day calendar in 2020 following collaboration with the Charles Town HBPA, in order to meet procedural requirements, the remainder of Charles Town’s 2020 schedule is expected to be taken up at West Virginia Racing Commission meetings in the coming months.
