Charles Town has an eight-race Saturday card. Post time is the normal 7:00 p.m. Good luck!

RACE 1

5-4-1-6

In the opener on the Saturday night card, #5 Not A Trick (1-1 morning line) should regain his winning ways in this one-turn allowance/optional $15,000 claiming dash for trainer Kevin Patterson. #4 Best Shot (3-1) won against allowance company two starts back and looms the main threat to the top choice for trainer Tim Grams. #1 Grand Fiber (10-1) makes just his third start of the year for trainer John McKee but has raced well in first two. #6 Scythe (15-1) seeks first score since owner-breeder-trainer Leslie Condon passed away.

RACE 2

6-4-5-3

#6 Modern Cowpoke (4-1) draws favorable outside post in this one-turn maiden $5,000 claiming event and could post mild upset for trainer Edwin Tobin. #4 Cryptosonde (6-5) has been second three straight and five times in seven starts this year for trainer James Shawyer and could end bridesmaid status as likely favorite. #5 Lil Silver Fox (7-5) exits maiden special weight company at Mountaineer Park and has showed promise in previous maiden claimers for trainer Tim Collins. #3 Weaving You Behind (8-1) also seeks to graduate for the late Condon.

RACE 3

5-1-4-2

#5 Super Garner (4-1) returns from Mountaineer for trainer Bernard Dunham and figures prominently in this two-turn starter allowance. #1 Prince Of Windsor (6-1) seeks third straight for trainer Ollie Figgins III. #4 Bold Valor (5-1) was sharp second last out and seeks fourth seasonal score for trainer Ronney Brown. #2 Charitable Visit (8-1) gives Figgins a second upsetter’s chance in this event.

RACE 4

5-4-6-7

#5 Meet Ms Bobbi Rae (2-1) exits maiden special weight company after seven tries at that level and looms the one to beat in this one-turn maiden $12,500 claimer for Figgins. #4 Celia’s Pride (5-2) was second last time at this level and looms the main threat to the top choice. #6 Thunder Punch (3-1) was also second at this level last out for trainer Joe Stehr. #7 Global First (10-1) makes career debut from favorable outside slot for trainer Sara Kopecki.

#5 Danz A Rebel (1-1) graduated last out against maiden claimers and seeks second straight score while trying winners for the first time in this two-turn event for $5,000 claimers. #2 Stacksdenero (5-1) graduated earlier this year and seeks second triumph against winners. #6 Offshore Trip (5-2) has been second four times in nine winless outings this year for trainer Joan Reynolds but could atone in this spot. #7 Bay Hill (15-1) also arrives winless in nine seasonal outings for trainer Michael Weeks.

RACE 6

4-3-6-8

#4 Thank You Girl (6-1) graduated two starts back and will seek to rebound from first outing against winners in this two-turn affair for $10,000 claimers. #3 Nurse Tompkins (7-2) exits allowance company for this spot for trainer Javier Contreras. #6 Respected (8-1) makes second start back off six-month respite and could be right there late. #8 Roaring Silence (3-1) makes local debut for trainer Anthony Farrior after graduating against maiden claimers at Delaware Park.

#4 Fancy Concho (8-5) sports two wins and four second-place finishes in first six starts and looks tough to beat here as likely favorite for Grams in this two-turn allowance. #3 Mayhem Like Me (3-1) owns one win against allowance foes and is usually on the board at this level for trainer David Walters. #8 Harbour Town (15-1) won last out against allowance foes and looms a live longshot from outside slot. #1 He’s A Gold Digger (12-1) has been second three times in six starts for trainer Kristy Gazzier and could prevail at a decent price here.
