RACE NUMBER | CONTENDERS | COMMENTS |
Race 6 | 4-2-7-1 | Top choice #4 Tuesday Too (9-2) had a bit of a trip last out in her debut before finishing fourth. She broke a touch slow, rushed up along the inside to vie for the lead, then steadied briefly when put in tight near the quarter-pole before tiring late while running a bit greenly. We like the good early speed she showed that day, and she should be able to take a step forward today, especially with a cleaner trip… Morning line favorite #2 Cherokee Castle (6-5) has finished second or third in each of her three starts, including her last, in which she finished well clear of the top choice… Draw a line through that last for #7 Tapit Cat (5-1). She hesitated at the break and came away well last, which is death going 4 1/2 furlongs. Her debut was perfectly acceptable… #1 Just Ask Me (6-1) has been going the wrong way of late, but the odds may be square come post time… |
Race 7 | 3-6-8-5 | Top choice #3 Justalittleviolent (9-2) beat similar two back and ran a perfectly credible race last out when third against better. Dropped back into an easier spot, she’ll have every right to contend… The wire arrived just in time last out for #6 Captain Sam (5-2), who led throughout in her first start in the Farrior barn. She may have company up front here… Farrior has a double threat in here and will also send out #8 Lookingforanewspot (2-1). This one beat similar two back, but note that top jock Bocachica leaves this one to ride Captain Sam… |

6th.”Tuesday Too”is tempting
but could easily sting.I like”Ex Rated”
“Just don’t Ask Me”why.
7th.”Sweetonthegents”can perform
some “Country Magic” and make”Captain Sam”,
go”Lookingforanewspot”to lie down.
8th.Since I did so poorly I’ll
try to give out another winner.
But”Sloe Gin Biz”looks like”Moneytome”.maybe
“Cairo Calling” might be mauling these.
