RACE NUMBER | CONTENDERS | COMMENTS |
Race 7 | 2-6-3-5 | Top choice #2 Noble Gaston (4-1) ran credibly last out when third at this maiden special weight level. That was back in December, and trainer Mario Dominguez, who has a solid record off the layoff, has gelded the horse since then and adds blinkers today… #6 Three Comma Glenn (7-2) makes his debut here for Butch Reid. The sophomore Empire Maker colt was a $180,000 auction purchase, and he’s showing a pair of bullet moves since coming north to Parx as he readies for this one… The speedy #3 That’s Right (3-1) gets Lasix added after just missing twice against similar. Race 10 | 6-4-5-1 | Top choice #6 Divine Miracle (3-1) doesn’t need the lead but is fast enough to take it if no one else does. The Jamie Ness trainee has won four straight since Ness claimed him and could make it five today… Morning line favorite #4 Ruby Bleu (2-1) has been first or second in five straight and owns 17 wins in his 78-race career. Kendrick Carmouche remains aboard… If #5 Souper Fly Over (9-2) can get back to his better form, he can contend with these. The waters were a little deep last out in the Washington Crossing, and he should appreciate the class relief today… Not an easy task today by any means, but #1 Jacohare (8-1) saw his third-place effort last out flattered a bit yesterday when winner Exit Right repeated… |
