ANALYSIS

It’ll be the first time around two turns for #5 Seneca Rocks (7-2), so we wouldn’t want to let the odds get too low, but she’s playable around the morning line. This miss impressed in her first two but found herself a bit outfooted last time in the Its Binn Too Long. Winner Silky Serena came right back to score again against older in the Fancy Buckles, and the added ground should allow this one to be better positioned in this contest. Two sibs have run good two-turn races… Nothing wrong with what #3 Tiz a Country Girl (9-5) has done to date as she moves through her conditions… Back-to-back good efforts for #2 Long Legs Louise (9-2) who ran second at 31-1 and then prevailed in an allowance at 11-1. Seems like this four-year-old is finally figuring this racing thing out… #4 Aim’s Jubilee (4-1) has been right there in two tries against similar…

Race 6

6-8-2-3

We’ll take a swing in this maiden event with #6 Ghostly Night (12-1). The Madison Meyers trainee was sluggish away from the gate against better on the slop on debut at Laurel before running on credibly in a turf try at Pimlico last time. This will be her second try with Lasix on, and the signs from the connections seem positive: she’s had two works since her last, the switch back to dirt suggests they don’t think dirt was the problem in that first outing, and the move to CT allows her to find easier company without being exposed to getting claimed… Morning line favorite #8 Spunky Zoey (7-5) has run some good races but is winless in six tries without, generally, much excuse… It’ll be the first start of the year for the Jeff Runco-trained #2 Enjoy Summer (5-2), who has been working fast towards her return to action… #3 Asue (3-1) got cooked in a speed duel with winner Nail Polish in her first outing, and Nail Polish returned to beat allowance foes next out. Do note that trainer Flint Stites’s go-to local rider, Darius Thorpe, lands on Spunky Zoey…
