RACE NUMBER | CONTENDERS | COMMENTS |
Race 9 | 4-2-3-1 | #4 In a Spin (4-1): Ships in after two starts at Laurel and is going for three straight wins. She has faced better last two starts and is the horse to beat If she gets the trip. #2 Amplio Esquema (4-1): She also is shipping in after racing at Laurel and won last out. She has been in the money in 10 of 14 on the turf. Last out says she is getting back in form. #3 Boom Boom Girl (9-2): She is getting back to the turf where she’s run well at times in the past. Tactical enough to find a good spot in a race without speed and can earn a major share. #1 Solemn Oath (4-1): She was an easy winner with cheaper last and if she gets away running from the inside could surprise at a square price. |
Race 10 | 1-3-4-7 | #1 World Party (3-1): Goes from a sprint to a route and has been in the money five of six at this distance. Trainer Jamie Ness is 28% off the bench. Claimed two starts back at Keeneland for $20,000, this miss is well spotted today for top trainer. #3 Will Lemon Dance (5-2): She is going for three wins in a row and stretching out from sprint to a route also. Has won going two turns, so distance not a concern and lands in good spot here. She is main threat to top pick. #4 Pumpernickel (7-2): Crushed never-won-two rivals at same claiming level two back. Fits well with these and can earn a share today. #7 Shetalkstomuch (8-1): She gets close with these and has the speed to earn a major share at a square price. |
