RACE NUMBER | CONTENDERS | COMMENTS |
Race 6 | 2-3-6-7 | #2 Uptown Amanda (5-2): She has been working really well and is by a sire who gets 2-year-old winners. Trainer Scott Lake is 28% with juvenile first starters. This one needs to overcome inside post. #3 Winning Moon (4-1): She also shows works that say she is ready for a big effort. Trainer Kathy Demasi is 17% with 2-year-old debut runners. #6 Desi’s Reward (9-2): Also has shown speed in the mornings. Trainer Lou Linder Jr is 17% with 2-year-olds first out of the box, and this one should be able to get a share. #7 Bruno Barber Girl (7-2): She broke slow against the same in only previous try. Improvement in second start can make her a player with these. |
Race 9 | 2-4-5-3 | #2 Loverboy Lou (3-1): Won last start at Delaware Park and is going for three in a row. Has the speed to go gate to wire, and trainer is 26% when he won his last start. #4 Cant Stop This Man (5-2): Beat starter foes last out and should be forwardly placed. He is a threat to top pick. #5 Mr Sandman (9-2): Was second last out against three-year-old allowance rivals, tackles older today. He is making his second start off the bench (trainer Randy Allen is 29% with this), so improvement is expected. If he gets the trip will be a major player today. #3 Screen Saver (10-1): He was an even fourth last out against the same. He can improve in his second start of the year and earn a share at a square price. |
