In this one-turn dash for $5,000 claiming fillies and mares, #8 Not for Gold (4-1) gets favorable outside draw for trainer Keith Brown and gets the nod for mild upset to cap the early daily double. #7 Lucky Us (7-2) will get ample support for trainer Ronney Brown and looms a genuine threat here. #3 Lady Licious (9-5) has been in good form of late for trainer Lela Hanagan and likely garners the favorite’s role. #6 Leah’s Legacy (9-2) could complete several gimmicks for trainer Jack Hurley.

In what appears to be the most wide open event on the card, a two-turn maiden $5,000 claiming event, #1 Nth Power (5-1) makes belated seasonal debut off a pair of recent works at Laurel Park for trainer Sylvester McGill and gets favorable rail draw with genuine upset chance despite long respite. #5 Playing Gold (8-5) seeks first win in 13 starts this year and 20th try overall for trainer W. Thomas McMahon and should be solid post-time favorite here. #6 New South (4-1) looks for first win in seven tries this year and 20 overall for trainer John Carlisle and cannot be overlooked. #8 Bloke (6-1) also seeks first score in 20th lifetime try for trainer James Dean Locklear and appears the stronger half of his two entrants.

In this two-turn event for $5,000 claiming fillies and mares, #1 Stylish Paint (8-5) gets favorable rail draw and gets the nod here for trainer Ronney Brown. #4 Miss Wild (9-5) prevailed last out for trainer Jeff Runco and will get plenty of support in repeat bid. #2 Dustwhirl Wonder (12-1) could complete several gimmicks at a very generous price for trainer Marc Raconelli. #3 Perkeo (8-1) cannot be entirely dismissed in this spot for trainer Anthony Lucas.

In this one-turn maiden special weight event for state-bred older males, #8 Jefferson Security (4-1) was solid second in debut and gets chance to atone for fourth-place effort last out for trainer Tim Grams. #5 In High Gear (5-1) has been second twice this year and looks to improve on fifth-place finish last out for trainer Tim McDonald. #4 Rough Start (3-1) was good second in belated seasonal debut last out for trainer Chris Keller and looms the likely favorite here. #3 Small Paw (9-2) was good second against maiden claimers last out and jumps back into maiden special weight company with upset chance.

In this intriguing one-turn allowance dash, #5 Math Man Marco (6-5) was sharp second last out for trainer Kevin Patterson and Coin Collector Stakes hero looks poised to regain winning ways in this spot. #7 Fiber Strong (3-1) has been consistent sort all season for trainer Jeff Runco and certainly merits respect here. #6 Showtime Cat (9-2) exits a pair of open stakes for trainer Mike Jones, Jr. and cannot be overlooked in this spot. #4 Super Jordan (6-1) was solid second last out for trainer Laura Carson and deserves a look here.
