Race #1 Picks: 6-5-1-2
Race #2 Picks: 6-7-8-4
Race #3 Picks: 6-5-2-3
Race #4 Picks: 8-1-6-7
Race #5 Picks: 3-6-5-2
In this optional claiming/starter allowance race, #3 Peyton Elizabeth (9-5) faltered in a restricted stakes race at Pimlico in last but was running well earlier this year. This will be her second start in Brittany Russell’s barn, and if she can regain her earlier form she should prevail today. #6 Award Wanted (7-2) has won three of eight starts at Delaware. She is almost always game and should run another good one today. #5 Escape Fund (5-2) has won her last two and is in good form. She has decent speed figures and should be considered. #2 Heart Full of Soul (6-1) makes her first start after being claimed by leading trainer Jamie Ness, who wins at a 35% clip on first after a claim, so this runner should be respected.
Race #6 Picks: 11-9-4-3
Race #7 Picks: 6-3-4-5
In this $7,500 claiming race for N3L at 5 ½ furlongs, #6 One Niner Tango (5-2) is taking a small class drop and had some decent races earlier in the year. If he can repeat those races, he should be in the mix. #3 Golden Avieator (5-1) has Jaime Rodriguez on top for the first time, and he will be trying to get this early speed type to hang on for a few more yards when he is fading late. #4 Sutton Valley (8-1) had several good races over the summer here at Delaware. He will be fighting several others for the early lead. #5 Shed a Tear (9-2) has been competitive with this group of horses in recent races and should be considered.
Race #8 Picks: 2-5-7-1
