Race #1 Picks: 5-2-1-6
Race #2 Picks: 3-1-5-4
Race #3 Picks: 3-8-5-6
In this $42,000 maiden special weight for two-year-olds at one mile, #3 Weekend Tizzy (5-2) had two strong MSW races in New York and seems to be improving. His Last speed figure matches the track par, which is better than the others have demonstrated. We have this colt on top. #8 Adero (8-1) is a John Servis-trained first-time starter. This colt was purchased for $37,000 at the Fasig-Tipton July 2021 yearling sale and has been working well. #5 Silver Style (5-1) looked solid in two sprints here at Delaware. Now he’ll try a route, and if he likes the extra distance he could be dangerous. #6 Grandpa’s Kid (7-2) ran evenly at this distance in last try, which was an improvement over his previous efforts. Any further improvement should put him in the mix.
Race #4 Picks: 1-7-3-5
Race #5 Picks: 2-4-3-6
Race #6 Picks: 6-3-2-1
Race #7 Picks: 1-5-2-3
Race #8 Picks: 2-1-3-6
In this starter/optional claiming race at a mile and one sixteenth, #2 Flowers for Lisa (9-5) is a nine-year-old gelding who has been running well at Monmouth. He has two wins and four seconds in thirteen starts this year and has two wins in three tries at Delaware Park lifetime. We have him on top. #1 Maythehorsebwithu (5-2) has been running well in Maryland, where he won his last two, and has a win at Delaware Park. He fits well here. #3 Greyzer (7-2) has three wins in four tries at Delaware Park and Steve Klesaris’ barn has won at a 33% clip this meet in 24 tries. #6 Morocco (8-1) has been running well since he made the move from turf to dirt.
