Race #1 Picks: 6-1-2-5
Race #2 Picks: 4-6-1-5
Race #3 Picks: 8-4-5-9
Race #4 Picks: 3-1-5-2
Race #5 Picks: 2-7-6-4
Race #6 Picks: 4-1A-5-6
In this $20,000 claiming race for fillies and mares at 6 furlongs, #4 Always Talking (5-2) is a speed burner who got caught in a duel last time and faded in a race that favored closers. If she can control the pace we think she has a good shot to defeat this field today. #1A Peyton Elizabeth (3-2) will be laying just off the pace and looking to pounce late. Trainer Jamie Ness has won at a 34% clip on first off the claim in 153 tries. #5 Confirmed Genius (9-2) won last and is moving up the claiming ladder. Trainer Scott Lake has won at 25% in 131 starts on next race after a win. This includes a positive ROI of $2.03. #6 Olive Kat (8-1) is making the move from grass to dirt and taking a class drop.
Race #7 Picks: 5-1A-2-3
In this $44,000 first level allowance at a mile and a sixteenth, #5 Coach Adams (2-1) was running well at Monmouth before taking a two-month break. He has the top speed figures and has been working well. We have him on top. #1A Speak Unity (3-1) has won $85,000 this year and is always competitive. He has solid speed figures and will be pressing the pace looking to make a late move. A top contender. #2 Stacks of Silver (4-1) has good early turn of foot, and if he can get loose he could steal it for Gary Capuano, who is having a very good meet. #3 Shoot Themessenger (8-1) was running well over the summer but has been dull lately. Will be looking to return to his earlier form.
Race #8 Picks: 4-7-6-5
