In this one-turn $5,000 claiming event to kick off the Saturday night card, #8 Blue Mountain (7-2) gets favorable outside draw and arrives off solid second-place effort for trainer Kevin Joy. #4 Cat With a Notion (6-5) could be the odds-on choice by post time for trainer Cynthia McKee and certainly merits respect here. #7 Micheaux (15-1) has been seventh in each of last two but gets favorable draw and could complete several gimmicks at a generous price. #1 Stowe Patrol (5-1) graduated against maiden claimers last out and deserves a look against winners despite tricky rail draw.

In this one-turn dash for $5,000 claimers, #7 Billingsgate (3-1) gets favorable outside draw off the four-month layoff for trainer Ronney Brown and gets the nod for mild upset here. #4 He Is Bonafide (5-2) was good third last out after winning two back and merits respect here for trainer Javier Contreras. #2 Lion of the Sea (2-1) has finished second in each of last two for trainer Tim Grams and looms a major player in this spot. #9 Chippewa’s Castle (10-1) won three back and could complete several gimmicks at a big price with outside draw.

In this two-turn allowance for fillies and mares, #7 Moonlit Shadow (3-1) returns to two-turn event for trainer Tim Grams, and full-sister to Moonlit Song could regain winning ways in this spot. #8 Seneca Rocks (7-2) exits Original Gold Stakes and looms a factor here for trainer Javier Contreras. #2 Azzurra (4-1) has been a fixture in these events for years for trainer Anthony Farrior and cannot be overlooked. #1 Someday Is Today (9-2) already sports a pair of wins this year and gives Farrior tepid chance to run one-two in this spot.

In this two-turn event for $5,000 claimers, #4 Tiz Michelle’s Way (7-2) exits several much tougher spots and returns to winnable event here. #2 Thunder Turtle (8-1) won two back in most recent outing for trainer Jeff Runco. #9 Clearly Visible (3-1) has been third in each of last two outings after winning three back. #10 Cruz in the Castle (9-2) has faced tougher last two after posting a solid score three back and deserves a look.

In this one-turn maiden $7,500 claiming event for state-bred fullies and mares, #9 Just Ask Me (10-1) gets favorable outside draw and gets the nod for genuine upset in this wide open affair. #8 Bowmans Lazy Girl (12-1) was good second last out and could complete very generous exacta. #7 Iminchargenow (6-1) gets chance to atone for modest effort last out after a pair of second-place finishes. #6 juju On Da Beat (5-2) was solid second last out and looms a factor off similar effort here.

In this two-turn starter allowance for fillies and mares, #1 Acadian Girl (3-1) has been second in each of two local tries against similar for trainer Emanuel “Mike” Geralis and looks to end bridesmaid status here. #3 Divine Fashion (5-2) has won three straight against similar for trainer Anthony Farrior and seeks to maintain winning ways as certain favorite. #2 Volnay (5-1) has been second in each of two most recent local outings and looms a factor in this spot. #6 Hidden Identity (8-1) was good third in second local try and merits respect at a decent price here.

RACE 7 – The $75,000 It’s Only Money Stakes

In the Saturday night feature, the $75,000 It’s Only Money Stakes named for the former Tim Grams trainee and hero of the inaugural $100,000 Charles Town Dash, #4 Penguin Power (3-1) has finished third in each of his first two starts this year but looks to regain form that earned Jeff Runco trainee state-bred sprint champion honors last season. #3 Golden Key (4-1) has won last two for trainer Ronney Brown and looms a serious threat to the top choice here. #2 Little Roo Roo (5-1) has won two straight including Coin Collector Stakes last out for trainer Mike Jones, Jr. and deserves a look facing older boys. #1 Nico (7-2) is looking to regain winning ways in this spot for trainer Javier Contreras.

RACE 8

2-6-7-8

In the Saturday night finale, a two-turn event for $5,000 claiming fillies and mares, #2 Rationalmillenial (2-1) finished third in local debut last out for trainer Javier Contreras and gets the nod to prevail as the likely choice here. #6 Spunky Zoey (4-1) was always good third last out for trainer Tim Shanley and should be able to work out good trip. #7 Jaccaci (7-2) was good second last out and actually opened the campaign by graduating against maiden special weight foes for trainer Ronney Brown. #8 Curlin’s Dove (9-2) was third two back and gets a chance to atone for dull effort last out.
