In this interesting, two-turn starter allowance for fillies and mares, #2 Divine Fashion (7-5) defeated allowance foes last out, sports four wins in last five outings and six wins in 11 starts in busy campaign for trainer Anthony Farrior and seeks to cap chalky early daily double. #1 Betcha By Golly (6-1) was second and third in two previous local outings and returns from facing tougher at Laurel Park for trainer Georgia Andreadakis. #5 Volnay (5-2) has been second three times in four local tries at the level and merits respect in this spot. #3 Extra Crunchy (5-1) bested claimers last out and seeks second straight here.

In this one-turn maiden special weight dash for boys, #5 Israeli Army (8-5) makes second local outing and should benefit from fourth-place effort last out over the strip. #6 Bumpy Landing (8-1) was good third in career debut against maiden claimers for trainer Ollie Figgins III of Dance to Bristol fame and deserves a look while jumping into this level. #8 Lil Buddy (12-1) makes areer debut off good gate work for trainer Tim Shanley and merits respect with favorable outside draw. #1 Huey Duey (2-1) makes local debut after several decent outings in the midwest and cannot be overlooked despite tricky rail draw.

In this interesting one-turn dash for $15,000 claimers, #7 Trappe the Gold (12-1) makes local debut and gets favorable outside draw for trainer Linda Dohlinger-Stehr. #5 Reata’s Castle (8-1) was good fourth against similar last out and can improve on that effort. #4 Now Hook’em (7-5) won last out against claimers and makes first start off the claim for trainer Kevin Patterson and cannot be dismissed. #3 The Illusionist (8-5) exits allowance company and merits respect here for trainer Ronney Brown.
