Race 7 – MC 40000
1. #12 Fancy Stax (6-1) – Started in a maiden claimer, but was making a strong run in that seven furlong try and should improve at a solid price with added distance
2. #1 Addressable Market (7-2) – This Klaravich and Brown filly has improved in three tries and is a clear top contender here who can win if she continues on this trend
3. #9 It Wasn’t Me (9-2) – This filly by Blame drops into claiming company and returns to turf where she should be better with a more forward trip than in her debut
4. #5 Get Respect (6-1) – Should improve purely based on the class drop, and despite removing blinkers could be closer to the front with a chance to hold on in the money
Race 8 – Grade III Adirondack Stakes
1. #9 Copper Em (9-2) – This Winchell Thoroughbred filly probably has the most impressive race of this field, and should have no problem repeating that with extra distance
2. #3 Here U Come Again (5-2) – Brad Cox trainee could be the top challenger to Copper Em, running a sharp five furlong debut but might be hoping for some pace pressure early
3. #4 Brightwork (9-2) – The only one in this field who has won two races including one at six furlongs last time and gets Irad Ortiz in the irons here
4. #10 Becky’s Joker (7-2) – Might have run into a weaker Schuylerville field early this meet, but still could take advantage of a quicker pace and make a run late if others tire
Race 9 – Alw 50000s
1. #4 Pentagon (5-2) – This McGaughey trainee has a nice closing kick and has been running well recently but will the right trip to get her first win since breaking maiden
2. #3 Ruda (7-2) – Has never finished worse than five lengths back, and seems to be trending in the right direction with increasing speed figures and gets Jose Ortiz here
3. #8 Miss Kristy (10-1) – A winner of two in a row albeit in claiming company, this filly by Good Samaritan picked up an impressive fifteen lengths last time to pass the whole field and win
4. #2 Can’t Fool Me (10-1) – Finally broke her maiden after eight tries in October, and comes off a long layoff here but her most recent group of races compares well with this group
Race 10 – MC 40000
1. #2 Stow on the Wold (7-2) – Drops from state bred maidens into maiden claimers, and should be in the mix here with four solid efforts on turf if Prat keeps him off the lead
2. #8 Myles (8-1) – Took a step forward switching to turf in his second try, and continued to improve last time with a stalking trip which bodes well in this field
3. #3 Forward Move (5-2) – Was bet to favorite in his debut, now stretching out in distance and has one of the better races of this field in just one career try
4. #12 Zapruder (6-1) – Linda Rice joins up with Jose Lezcano on this gelding who gets another crack at maiden claiming company after a nice effort last time around
