Wanamaker’s issued the following press release January 17:

The 2024 Wanamaker’s January Sale catalogue is now available for viewing at wanamakers.com. A wide range of horses are on offer with horses of racing age, open broodmares, in-foal broodmares, and stallion seasons are all catalogued this month.

Bidding will open at 8:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday, January 24^th, with the first listing set to close at 5:00 p.m. Subsequent listings will close in three-minute increments. Detailed information on the buying process can be found at wanamakers.com/buy.

Highlights of the catalogue include:

• A 2024 NG season to Great Notion. Great Notion is the #1 Maryland sire six years running.
• Luna Santa, a broodmare by Birdstone offered open for the 2024 breeding season. She is a stakes-placed mare out of a stakes-winning mare.
• Cartesian, a three-year-old racing prospect by Grade 1 winning sire Liam’s Map. She is out of the Kitten’s Joy mare, Pure Elation who is a full sister to two stakes winners.
• Topazio, a stakes-placed mare by a top-class broodmare sire, More Than Ready. She is out of a multiple black type producing mare who’s also by a renowned broodmare sire, Dixieland Band.
