Replay: Saturday’s Off to the Races Radio
Off to the Races Radio, powered by The Racing Biz returned February 24 at 10:00 a.m. The one-hour radio show, which is presented by the Virginia Equine Alliance, returns for its 26th season.
The program focuses on Thoroughbred racing and breeding in Virginia, around the Mid-Atlantic, and across the country and will air each Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Eastern on ESPN Richmond (106.1 FM) and via livestreaming. Starting in late March, the show will air simultaneously on ESPN Harrisonburg (106.9 FM and 1360 AM). And during the summer race meet at Colonial Downs, the program will expand to two hours.
The show will run through November 2.
The program combines tips and advice on betting horse racing, news from the sport, and interviews and conversations with major racing newsmakers.
Saturday’s show included an interview with Virginia Thoroughbred Association executive director Debbie Easter, a visit with Darrell Wood, and handicapping with Maryland Jockey Club analyst Kali Francois.
