Off to the Races Radio: March 23 lineup
Off to the Races Radio, powered by The Racing Biz continues its 26th season of talking Thoroughbred racing Saturday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. The show will air for one hour each week on ESPN Richmond.
The program focuses on Thoroughbred racing and breeding in Virginia, around the Mid-Atlantic, and across the country and will air each Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Eastern on ESPN Richmond (106.1 FM) and via livestreaming. Starting in late March, the show will air simultaneously on ESPN Harrisonburg (106.9 FM and 1360 AM). And during the summer race meet at Colonial Downs, the program will expand to two hours.

The show will run through November 2. Each show will feature a mixture of interview segments, handicapping of the afternoon’s races, and news.
On March 23 hosts Nick Hahn and Frank Vespe will welcome in Dave Zenner, Kaitlin Free, John Dooley, Kali Francois, and more. Zenner, Colonial Downs’s director of racing and simulcast operations, will come on to discuss Colonial’s recent turf burn. John Dooley is the track announcer at the Fair Grounds, which hosts the Grade 2 Louisiana Derby Saturday. Free and Francois are handicappers who will ‘cap the big races from Turfway Park and Laurel Park, respectively.
Off to the Races Radio is presented by the Virginia Equine Alliance. In addition to the real-time ways to listen to Off to the Races, each episode will also be archived on The Racing Biz (www.theracingbiz.com).
