The Racing Biz caught up at Pimlico Race Course with trainer Kenny McPeek, who secured his personal Triple Crown May 4 when his Mystik Dan shot through up the rail to win the Kentucky Derby.

McPeek tells us that “Kentucky Derby-winning trainer” has a nice ring to it before his name and shares interesting insights into the training that helped Mystik Dan break alertly in the Derby and secure the rail that he rode all the way to Roses.

The second jewel of the Triple Crown, the Preakness, is May 18 at PImlico.
