Off to the Races Radio, powered by The Racing Biz continues its 26th season of talking Thoroughbred racing Saturday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. The show will air for one hour each week on ESPN Richmond.

The program focuses on Thoroughbred racing and breeding in Virginia, around the Mid-Atlantic, and across the country and will air each Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Eastern on ESPN Richmond (106.1 FM) and via livestreaming. Starting in late March, the show will air simultaneously on ESPN Harrisonburg (106.9 FM and 1360 AM). And during the summer race meet at Colonial Downs, the program will expand to two hours.

The show will run through November 2. Each show will feature a mixture of interview segments, handicapping of the afternoon’s races, and news.

On May 25 hosts Nick Hahn and Frank Vespe will recap last weekend’s 149th running of the Preakness Stakes. Joining them will be Gary Quill from The Racing Biz, owner-breeder R. Larry Johnson whose Future Is Now won The Very One Stakes and whose Call Another Play ran third in the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan, harness guru Darrell Wood, and more.

Off to the Races Radio is presented by the Virginia Equine Alliance. In addition to the real-time ways to listen to Off to the Races, each episode will also be archived on The Racing Biz (www.theracingbiz.com).
