RACE 1

5. Ritz On Broadway	Was gradually getting to winner in last despite four-wide trip throughout; new trainer Simone 19% first off the claim
3. Stylish Anna	Led throughout to graduate two back, and turf try last out was solid; may have pace company from #6
6. Always Connected	Two local tries aren’t terrible; no great excuse for fourth-place finish as 9-5 choice in last

RACE 2 – ON THE TURF

2. Discreet Devil	Gets back to turf for first time since maiden breaker last October; could be main speed
8. Katie’s Notion	Half-sister to Oh So Lovely, a three-time turf sprint winner; sire Great Notion does well with turf sprinters
6. K’s Pick	First time going one turn; trainer Smith solid record routes to sprints

RACE 3

5. Ekati’s Verve	Throws in the occasional clunker but you usually get a square price on him; should be running at the end; has caught some formful rivals of late, including Remembering Wilbur, winner of two straight, and Uncaptured Storm, who won three in a row
1. Zoomer	Has kept better company; winless in two years makes it imperative to get square price
2. Stacks of Silver	Huge effort in last and a repeat makes him a winner here; the question is, did it take something out of him? Last three times he topped a 70 Beyer, he regressed next out

RACE 4 – ON THE TURF

8. Baywatch Blonde	Was never going to be able to make up ground into glacial pace on debut; trainer Motion, on a heater, has a positive ROi with second-time starters in special weight company
6. Rue Cambon	Those Fair Grounds tries better than they look — runner-up two back later won the G3 Wonder Again, while most recent try has produced four next-out winners and the runner-up in the G3 Eatontown
1. Gata	Trainer Thomas has a 4:2-1-1 ledger with first-time starters going a route of ground in special weight company here

RACE 5

6. Polterer	Owns 6-for-7 mark at the trip while keeping right company; likely controlling speedy; draw a line through last when stopping going 14 furlongs, cutback to preferred trip what the doc ordered
2. Conspiracy Fact	Took advantage of the way the conditions were written to win first-level allowance for second time last out; Arriagada barn clicking early in meet
1. Exit Right	Beat slightly easier group in last for second straight win; won both local starts last year

RACING NOTES

Apprentice rider Gabriel Maldonado continued his fast start, winning four times Thursday. His 24 wins are six more than fellow bug rider Ederik Robles, as apprentices are one-two in the early-meet standings…

RACE 6 – ON THE TURF

10. Twist ‘n Twirl	Hoping this one offers value given bizarrely low Beyer in last; makes third start off the bench
9. Vax a Nation	Kinda think this closing sort was just run off his feet in last; sharp close two back to dead-heat for win in race that produced G3 Dinner Party runner-up Crabs N Beer
2. Bolt From Above	Has kept better company; jockey Hiraldo leaves #1 for this mount

RACE 7

5. Storm Cat Eyes	Caught a tough group for the level in last and drops to bottom for first time and gets 7 to 12 pounds from main rivals
7. On the Chill	Sneaky-good try in last when only survivor of three-horse speed duel, but note that the winner was 0-for-32 prior
2. Grand Rozzo	Blinkers on and easier company for third off the bench
