8. John’s Glory	Broke slow to be last early, decent rally and didn’t miss second by much; sire Limehouse has average winning distance of 6.2 furlongs
6. Shoot the Breeze	Better efforts put him right there

RACING NOTES

Jockeys Marshall Mendez and Arnaldo Bocachica each won twice on the Thursday card.
No Change was a DNF last time out in the Confucius Say in April but returned running last night, winning an allowance/optional claimer by five lengths to win for the 16th time and move past $500,000 in earnings.
Last year’s 2yo champion WV-bred colt, Jubawithatwist, made it three straight wins with a dominant allowance score Thursday.
Friday’s third race is the first 2yo contest of the year at Charles Town, a 4 1/2-furlong dash for fillies.

RACE 6

6. Candy for Juba	Stopped in prior 3-turn try but may control an easier lead this time
4. Moon Fall	Has run well at the trip and mostly kept better company
1. Grumpy’s Buddy	Generally runs his race

RACE 7

3. Penguin Parade	Beat similar three back, returns to preferred two-turn trip
5. Marshall Peanut	Tries two turns for the first time; has the zip to make the lead if he wants it
4. Vagabond Virgin	Good try in last despite poor break

RACE 8

10. Bid for the Crown	If this first-timer can run at all, she’s a player here
5. Get Loaded	Deserving favorite but it’s a little curious this one appeared set to stay at PEN, even posting a work there, before shifting to CT
9. J J’s Joy	Kept better company
