RACE 6: OC 45000n2x
1. #7 Overacting (7-2) – Chad Brown and Klaravich so may be a tad over bet, but was trending in the right direction on turf before her try on an off surface a month ago
2. #3 Spooky Lady (3-1) – Flavian Prat should have this mare on the lead but this distance may be a bit further than she would like even if she controls here
3. #1 Bernt Again (12-1) – Should improve with a return to turf where she has some of the better efforts of this field, plus is good value in a relatively even group
4. #6 Can’t Fool Me (8-1) – Spinning Colors has been doing her best running since switching to turf, but comes off a long layoff so this classier mare gets the nod
RACE 7: Grade II Honorable Miss Handicap
1. #4 Clearly Unhinged (5-1) – Rosario has won his last two with this filly by Into Mischief and should be in a good stalking position off Munnys Gold and Spirit Wind
2. #8 Munnys Gold (2-1) – Has the most natural speed of this field, and may be able to go gate to wire with little pressure if she breaks well here
3. #6 Spirit Wind (3-1) – Has run well at this distance winning five of six, and showed last time out that she doesn’t need the lead to win which will benefit her here
4. #1 Accede (4-1) – Found her stride as of late winning her last three, and should be closer to the lead than Sterling Silver with top tier connections that can’t be ignored
RACE 8: Clm 40000
1. #2 Bourbon Day (9-2) – Drops in from optional claimers at Indiana, running his best at this distance and should be a fair price with good connections
2. #4 Street Ready (6-1) – Exits from a grade II which was just a bit out of his wheelhouse, and should show improvement in the class drop to be competitive
3. #8 Kalik (3-1) – Adds blinkers which could maybe get him back to his form of last year where he won a grade II gate to wire and can win with a top tier effort
4. #11 Paros (7-2) – Tough post, but won amongst this company last time out and has speed figures which compare well and give him a chance to close into the money
RACE 9: MC 40000
1. #7 Lu’s Redemption (4-1) – Has been in the mix in state bred maiden company, now drops to claiming but may need to close to have her best winning chances
2. #4 Lucky and Gorgeous (7-2) – Ran her best last time out when switching to turf for the first time, and can win if she builds off of that race
3. #2 Quite Continental (4-1) – Gets back to turf for Linda Rice and only lost by a length and a quarter in her debut but was sitting on a slow pace in that one
4. #6 Tongue Twister (5-1) – This distance may be a tad far unless she adjusts her running style, but still compares well from a speed figure perspective
