RACE 2

RACE 3 – OFF THE TURF
9. Nohai | Trainer Lynch ran out flashy debut winner Caprice, a 13-length winner for the same connext July 20, and has a 33% strike rate with 2yo firsters; dam won first out and then was second in a stake, and sire Gormley hits at a 9% clip with 2yo debut runners |
4. Lucky Flay | Showed good early speed chasing a wicked pace on debut and while obviously no match for runaway winner Caprice picked up third in a useful bow; can move forward and keeps rider Centeno |

RACE 4
5. Dancing Beauty | Speedy sort hopes to seize control of this one early; couldn’t do that in latest but there’s not a ton of other pace in here |

- The remnants of Hurricane Debby necessitated the cancellation of Thursday’s nightcap and Friday’s entire card…
- Jockey Jaime Rodriguez had a hat trick on Thursday, with two of those wins coming for leading trainer Jamie Ness…
RACE 6
2. Devil Pays in Gold | Took the worst of the trip last out when frequently tapping the brakes behind horses but still was willing; a cleaner trip could get it done today |

5. Spin the Breeze | Makes third start off the bench |
RACE 7 – OFF THE TURF
6. California Sober | Training pretty well over the strip for career debut; dam was a stakes winner, and a couple of sibs ran well on debut, though no winners |
2. Haizum | Arrogate colt has good figs but hasn’t made much impact on his races; on the other hand, he’s kept good company, including starts at Churchill and Saratoga |
5. Big Andy Mort | Improving sort showed newfound speed with blinks added and back on the main track |
