RACE 2: Skidmore Stakes
1. #2 Out on Bail (6-1) – This grey colt by Tiz the Law showed improvement when switching to grass last time and may get the right trip off a quick pace here
2. #1 Jet Sweep Joe (5-1) – Was right there with Governor Sam in the Tyro last time out and did more of the dirty work, so is a threat if the pace isn’t as fast this time
3. #3 Governor Sam (7-5) – Has the speed to either take the early lead or stalk and can win if he repeats his effort last race by sitting behind the leaders
4. #6 Raise the Bar (9-5) – Switches to turf but needs to prove he can adjust to the surface and improve off of his debut where he ran in the slop
RACE 8: OC 62500n2x
1. #2 Breath Away (9-2) – Five for six in the money at a mile, this Clement filly has been a consistent finisher even if wins have eluded her recently
2. #1 Tax Implications (6-5) – Drops from a grade III win in what appears to be a tune-up off a layoff, and wins with a top effort but isn’t a lock in this field
3. #6 Elounda Queen (5-1) – May prefer more distance, but has the class to compete here and at least close into the money with Rosario
4. #4 Swoop to Finish (12-1) – May not be enough pace to run at for this Mott trainee, but she can finish well by sitting off the lead this time around
RACE 9: Union Avenue Handicap
1. #7 Leeloo (6-5) – Narrowly lost to Kant Hurry Love last time out, but has some good back class and should be in the mix here if she breaks well
#2 Security Code (8-1) – Didn’t break sharply last time and fell out of the race, but has some good efforts at six furlongs if she is involved early
#1 Cara’s Time (7-2) – Comes out of an open allowance where she went out a tad too fast, but can still hold on in the top four if the pace is modest
#4 Tricky Temper (4-1) – Ran one of the better six furlong efforts last time out and broke her maiden over this track but needs to break well to have a chance
RACE 10: OC 80000n1x
1. #9 Vino Rouge (9-2) – Has been running her best recently on turf, and has some good back class here plus should be in a good position early
#2 Goa (7-2) – First time lasix for this filly who runs in North America for the first time for Chad Brown, and has upside in a field with questions
#1 Dancing Dean (4-1) – This Mott trainee has moved forward in her three stretch runs on turf, and can be a threat here if the pace gets a bit quicker than expected
#10 Mixologist (5-1) – Brad Cox trainee ran much better as a closer in her debut, now picking up Rosario who should have her moving late into the top grouping
RACE 11: MC 40000
1. #10 Our Finest Hour (4-1) – Improved a bit dropping into maiden claiming last time, and drops even further here for Mike Maker who is having a good meet
2. #9 Shakrevenge (6-1) – Couldn’t hold onto a lead in the stretch at this distance last time, but has been in the mix amongst this class which is more than others can say
3. #12 Z Train (5-1) – Tough post, but Dettori sticks around to ride for Dutrow after finishing a close third in these conditions here two weeks ago
4. #4 True Myth (6-1) – Showed a clear step forward when switching to turf last time, and may be more of a threat if he gets a quicker pace to take aim at
