- RACES ON CARD: 8
- CARRYOVERS: None

RACE 1
11. Quick Recovery (6-1) | Adds lasix first time and should improve after running against better down at Gulfstream |
4. Fia First (4-1) | Has been competitive recently over this track, coming up short last time in a race that compares well to this group |
9. Big Bolt (9-2) | Doesn’t seem to want to win; still has a good record in the money on dirt especially here |
2. Golden Boss Lady (10-1) | Certainly needs to improve to be close, but showed a clear step forward last time in her only competitive effort |
RACE 2
3. Cooler King (2-1) | Arkansas bred has a tactical advantage on this field with a top try, and simply didn’t break sharply last race |
6. Super Constitution (8-5) | May be overvalued here at his morning line odds, failing to win against similar class two back and has a troubling win rate |
1. Grand Rozzo (8-1) | Vino Rosso gelding may want more distance, but has shown improvement with two straight wins at sprints |
RACE 3
6. Latin Nikkita (2-1) | Finally switching back to dirt; could be overbet but this mare was running against better this year |
2. Del Rey Dolly (4-1) | The most competitive runner here with a win in over a third of her tries lifetime on dirt, but stretches in distance |
3. Six the Hard Way (3-1) | Drops from a low level allowance at Timonium, and fared well against this class here in July |

RACE 4 – ON THE TURF
5. Gotanothathingcomn (2-1) | Brittany Russell saddles this filly and has a 24% win clip this meet; first timer here worked well in August |
6. Feel the Bolt (12-1) | Enters her fourth start, and of those who have experience, her speed figures are the best |
2. Zenith (3-1) | Lone mount for Pennington who rides for John Servis; sired by Munnings who has emerged as a top 15 North American sire by Progeny earnings this year |
7. Mona L (8-1) | Grey filly bred in Pennsylvania has value in her debut with frequent works |
DIRT PICKS: 5-6-1
RACE 5
2. Gentle Breeze (5-2) | Showed more last year, but improved some off the class drop last time and has a combo that has won five of eight this meet |
6. Tiz Lord (9-5) | May just be in better form than Gentle Breeze; late finishing type could use some pace from Gambe Forte |
1. Our Ethan Charles (12-1) | Only win was in a maiden claimer, but still has a strong record in the money at a good price |
RACE 6 – ON THE TURF
9. Mr. Redolfo (10-1) | Has shown a preference for more distance, but his turf performances can’t be ignored at this price |
4. Great Kisser (7-2) | Lone win came on turf with Torres, and has a clear advantage over the rest if he breaks first |
10. Perfect Edge (10-1) | Switches surfaces for the first time, and will be in the mix if his top form translates |
8. Twist ‘n Twirl (8-1) | Respectable finishes against better competition; was stronger last year but cuts back in distance |
DIRT PICKS: 10-9-4
RACE 7
4. Blaze On (3-1) | Four wins in six starts; has the best form at this distance on a dry surface |
2. Golden Tabby (3-2) | Was working well this summer and may be the best here, but needs a sharper break this time around |
1. Ribbonsinherhair (8-1) | Better value than Touisset who has more speed; could get the set up to hit the board at a price |
RACE 8
2. Dubai Fire (7-2) | Back to dirt and should have a speed advantage on the rest which gives him a leg up |
3. Look Sharp (9-5) | Hasn’t won enough to warrant this short a number, but still has the best speed figures of the bunch |
4. Clever Tiger (5-2) | Unlikely winner but should be mid pack with a chance to nab show |
