RACE 1
12. Worries Unfounded | Drops a level after willing run, if a bit green; rider Boyce remains with this one after having also ridden #9 in latest |
9. Beautiful Mischief | Appears to have found what she wants to do after willing try in latest |
8. Mor Mor Mor | Two-back effort was fine; Toledo in the irons a good sign |
1. Splash of Jack |
RACE 2
6. Collaborate | Off last couple, this one would be safe at just about any level, so slight drop may be a sign of confidence; best efforts good enough to win here and makes second off the bench |
3. Monday Morning Qb | Terrific form since Magee claim but 0-for-8 mark going six furlongs suggests caution advised on a horse that will get bet |
7. Scaramanga | Ran pretty well in productive heat that’s produced two next-out winners and five ITM finishers; De Paz is 5-for-60 first off the claim |
2. Sheriff Ronnie |
RACE 3
12. Coaches Meeting | Mostly a sprinter but lone two-turn try on turf was plenty good enough; Carrasco should be able to put this one on the lead or just off it and could be tough on best |
6. Holey Moley | Graduated nicely in latest, which was also first off the bench |
1. Admiral’s Wave | Wide journey didn’t help matters in latest |
8. Dr. Hyde |
RACE 4
6. Galatina | A little bit outfooted on debut but should appreciate added ground today |
1. Moon Cache | May try to take ’em all the way |
4. Entente | Debut in stakes company-to-second start for a tag a curious journey; only the third horse trainer Servis has started in stakes company in last five years |
2. Julia’s a Fox |
RACE 5
10. Omni King | Return to turf a big plus; kept rugged company on the lawn last fall, including now-G3 winner Francesco Clemente |
4. Jhirsch | Inclined to draw a line through latest |
11. Union Bulldog | Graduated nicely in first in Stidham barn; interesting to see connex run this one for bottom of claiming range in this spot |
5. Primed to Go |
RACE 6
1A. Tiger Forever | First-timer for trainer Gonzalez, who is 10-for-37 with 2yo firsters in MCL company |
2. Curl N Rod | Added ground a plus |
5. On a Proud Note | Backed out readily after sharp check |
5. Laura’s Thunder |
RACE 7
10. Speed Figures | Couldn’t sustain after throwing down wicked fractions in latest; lightly raced sort has plenty of upside |
7. Proton Spirit | Rallied to just miss last out, finishing well ahead of top choice; the one they’ll need to hold off |
1. Betta Go Go Go | All three tries on the lawn are competitive |
2. Elon |
RACE 8
4. Touisset | Speedy sort might try to take ’em all the way; best would win here but latest was not good |
1. Shine On Moon | Didn’t miss by much in most recent versus similar but 7-5 morning line seems aggressive |
6. Summer Odds | Always seems to be in the mix at this level but hasn’t won |
7. Bondiva |
RACE 9
12. Mile High Miracle | First time back on turf since claim by Singh; prior turf tries good enough |
6. Agent Kelly | Good try in latest; Boniface barn continues productive year |
3. Milo | Pretty good outing in latest in first off the bench; leading rider back aboard |
8. Thick as Thieves |
