RACE 1: CLAIMING $7,500 (CONDITIONED), 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 1 1/16 MILES

5-1-4-6

#5 Winged Foot (5-2) ships from Parx for the Jamie Ness/Jaime Rodriguez duo. He’s closed mild ground off the pace in his last few starts, and should get a pace to run into here. #1 Daredavite (7-2) is in improving form. He closed and just missed at 54-1 last out; he’ll be tough if he can duplicate that effort, or come close to it. #4 Entrust (9-2) raced on the pace and held on for a share in his last two starts, and got up to win three starts ago when he sat off the pace. The latter strategy might be the move here.

RACE 2: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $12,500, 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 5 1/2 FURLONGS (GRASS)

10-2-6-4

#10 B Determined (6-1) was no factor against better last out at Delaware Park, but finished a strong-closing second to the classy Boat’s a Rockin two starts ago. He’s the only one in the race to run brisnet figures in the 80s in each of his last three races. #2 Like What I See (4-1) just missed after battling for the lead last out at the Meadowlands, and should control the pace under Jaime Rodriguez. #6 Majestic Eagle (6-1) has good tactical speed, and hasn’t run a bad race on this track in two tries.

RACE 3: MAIDEN CLAIMING $20,000, 2-YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES, 7 FURLONGS

2-6-8-7

#2 Passage East (5-2) ran well on debut at Finger Lakes. She got well-bet that day, and finished a pace-chasing second while ending up 6 1/2 lengths of third. #6 Acheron (5-1) has hit the board in both of her dirt starts, and should benefit from a outback around one turn and the addition of blinkers. #8 Hold On (6-1) closed well and got third in his lone one-turn try. He’s going in for a tag for the first time.

RACE 4: ALLOWANCE (N/W1X), 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, FILLIES AND MARES, 5 1/2 FURLONGS (GRASS)

5-12-10-7

#5 Orderofthephoenix (2-1) ran a much-improved 85 when third against better last out at Colonial Downs, in her second stateside start. She should beat these easily if she stays clear of trouble. #12 Lilly Simone (8-1) has been beaten less than two lengths three times at this level this year. She might not have enough early speed to win it, but she’s a must-use for underneath spots. #10 Apropos (5-2) surged and just missed in her last grass try behind Alla Breve, who won her next two starts, including the Jameela Stakes, in impressive fashion. She had a brutal trip three starts back, when she lost in a blanket finish.

RACE 5: MAIDEN CLAIMING $20,000, 2-YEAR-OLDS, 7 FURLONGS

9-4-2-5

#9 English Daddy (9-2) crossed the wire first second time out at Delaware, but was disqualified for drifting in. He battled on the pace and outfinished his dueling partner by three lengths. #4 Fear Nothing (7-2) has hit the board in his last four starts, including a second-place effort with a wide trip last out. He’s run at least a 65 three times in his career, right in the range he needs to be in to win. #2 Bad Mammer Jammer (10-1) takes a career-low drop in class, and should show speed from the inside.

RACE 6: MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT, 2-YEAR-OLDS, 1 1/16 MILES (GRASS)

4-10-3-11

#4 Outrunner (2-1) has worked well for a while at Colts Neck Stable for a while, and returned to the worktab in early October with a bullet four-furlong drill on the lawn. He faces a field without much positive grass experience. If he likes the surface, he’ll probably win. #10 Roll On Jesse (9-2) closed stoutly and just missed third on debut, then stepped up to a 71 when second going a mile on dirt last out. He shouldn’t have much of a problem with this distance on grass. #3 Lex’s Game (5-1) showed speed and held third on dirt last out, and should be put into play early.

RACE 7: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $12,500, 3-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 6 FURLONGS

9-6-3-2

#9 B West (3-1) cruised on the lead and easily beat claimers in his first start off a voided claim last out. He’s beaten better earlier this year, and that race served its purpose in easing him back into starter optional claiming company. #6 Johnnyfrenchfri (4-1) won easily first off a 16-month layoff against softer last out, and makes his first start off the Kieron Magee claim. He might have the highest ceiling in the race, having run in the low-90s as a 3-year-old last year. #3 Neigh Dude (8-1) came from just off the pace to win twice at the Monmouth Park meet, and will try to get a similar trip here.

RACE 8: ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING (N/W1X), 2-YEAR-OLDS, 1 MILE (GRASS)

1-14-3-7

#1 Just a Fair Shake (6-1) brokenhis maiden going away on dirt on debut, then got up for third in a blanket finish in the washed-off Laurel Futurity last out. He’s a threat if his form transfers to grass, and there’s no reason to believe it won’t. #14 Soleil Volant (3-1) stepped up to a career-best 75 first time against winners at Keeneland last out, a 7-point improvement from his previous grass try. He might have the class edge over these. #3 Dats Mr. Tap (12-1) overcame early trouble to get third in his debut on grass, then broke his maiden on dirt last out over Roll On Jesse and Lex’s Game, both of whom also appear earlier on the card. If either of them win, it would boost this one’s stock.

RACE 9: MAIDEN CLAIMING $12,500, 3, 4, AND 5-YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES AND MARES, 1 MILE

4-6-8-1

#4 Urban Dancer (12-1) sat the trip and made a mild move two starts back at Monmouth, with a respectable 60. She left her race in the gate last out, but put in a gate workout since then, an encouraging sign. If she behaves herself before the race, she’s live. #6 Aunt Margaret (5-2) ran a 60 first off a 26-month layoff (!) last out at this level. She has plenty of room to improve here, but has not raced beyond six furlongs. #8 Style and Profile (4-1) has shown flashes of promise in her 9-race career, and is a threat if she puts it all together. She closed for fourth against a slightly better field at this condition last out.
