Parx Racing will cancel its live race card for Tuesday, Jan. 21, the track announced on the social media site X, formerly Twitter. The track also canceled its Jan. 20 card.

The Philadelphia area is experiencing bitter cold temperatures this week. The high on Tuesday is predicted to be 19 degrees, and the wind chill may get as low as -7 degrees.

The National Weather Service has issued a cold weather advisory for the area, which remains in effect until noon on Wedensday.
