Among riders, it continues to be the Arnaldo Show, as Arnaldo Bocachica has a wide and growing advantage. On the trainer side, Ronney Brown maintains a small lead over Anthony Farrior.

JOCKEY TOP 10 WINS

Marshall Mendez had a productive week, winning with three of seven starters and adding another win at Colonial Downs, but he still lost ground to Arnaldo Bocachica, who won five times… Christian Maldonado went 4-for-13, and oddly enough, his four wins came on consecutive mounts, in Thursday’s fifth and ninth and Friday’s first and third… Five riders are winless and have made at least 10 starts locally…

JOCKEY TOP 10 PERCENTAGE OF PURSE EARNED

Arnaldo Bocachica went 5-for-16 during the week and finished in the money seven additional times to inch closer to category leader Carlos Lopez, who had no local mounts… All three riding Bocachicas are among the top 10 in percentage of purse earned… Four riders have made at least 10 local starts and accrued less than five percent of available purse money in their starts…

JOCKEY TOP 10 BY ADDED WINS

Marshall Mendez jumped from ninth to second in added wins, in part by getting 24-1 Cowgirl Attitude home Friday evening… His productive week has Christian Maldonado moving into the top 10… The full range of added wins is from 3.85 to (-7.64)…

TRAINERS TOP 10 BY WINS

Ronney Brown won with three of nine starters to maintain a narrow edge over Anthony Farrior, who won twice; Farrior is the leader in total purse money earned… Jeff Runco was 2-for-4 during the week and finished in the money in his other two starts… Vanessa Peltroche won twice during the week to move into the top 10… 27 trainers have made at least seven starts and are winlesss…

TRAINERS TOP 10 BY PERCENTAGE OF PURSE EARNED

Anthony Farrior won twice and finished second four additional times, while Jeff Runco had two wins and was in the money in all four starts… They, along with Kristy Gazzier, are the only trainers in the top 10 by wins also on this list… Runco is new to the top 10… At the other end of the spectrum are 21 trainers currently pulling in less than 5% of available purse money…

TRAINER TOP 10 BY ADDED WINS

Vanessa Peltroche’s two wins put her in the top 10 in added wins, which compares a trainer’s actual wins to the number of wins their odds would have predicted… Jeff Runco, on a hot streak, maintains the overall lead from Ronney Brown… Top four are identical to last week… The range for all trainers is 6.29 to (-4.44)…
