RACE 1: CLAIMING $20,000, 3-YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES, 6 FURLONGS
2-4-6-3
Both of Daniel Siculietano’s trainees loom large in this race. #2 Island Dream Girl (2-1) crushed a non-winners of two field last out at Penn National, with a very impressive brisnet figure of 94. Her only bad race in her three-race career came when she broke badly two starts ago; her other two figures crush these. #4 Star Venezuelan (10-1) was second to her stablemate last out, and has also been in consistently solid form, having run at least a 75 in her last three races. If her stablemate doesn’t run her race, she’s by far the most likely alternative, and will be a very solid price. #6 Tuned to the Moon (5-2) went gate-to-wire against three rivals to break her maiden at second asking last out. She looks fast enough to clear from the outside draw.
RACE 2: MAIDEN CLAIMING $12,500, 3-YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES, 1 MILE
4-5-2-3
#4 Authenticated (1-1) went off favored on debut, and showed speed before tiring. She should have an easier time on the front-end against this sad-sack bunch. Although she was claimed away from Brittany Russell by T.J. Aguirre, Sheldon Russell keeps the mount. #5 Missy’s Map (8-5) has also flashed early foot in her last two races, and drops back in class after a try against better last out. She was second to Tres Aires in her last try at this condition, who returned to win next out and is in later today. #2 Behind Schedule (12-1) has decent late pace figures and could rally for a minor share, providing some value to the trifecta.
RACE 3: CLAIMING $12,500 (N/W3L), 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 1 1/16 MILES
6-4-7-1
#6 Forest City (2-1) ran badly on the synthetic at Turfway Park last out, and was similarly flat in the mud three starts back at Aqueduct. His recent races on a fast track smoke these. #4 Admit Nothing (5-1) ran a solid-closing third against some solid runners in Midnight Renegade and Last Second Louie last out, improving to an 80 second off a brief layoff. He’ll sit a nice trip near the pace and secure a share. #7 Earl of Dassel (5-2) drops from the $25,000 non-winners of three level and recently turned in a bullet drill, going four furlongs in 47 3/5. That was the fastest of 19 works that day, outworking well-regarded Brittany Russell runners such as stakes winner Apple Picker, Exploration, and Complexity Jane.
RACE 4: ALLOWANCE (N/W1X), 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 7 FURLONGS
2-3-1-6
#2 Magic Express (8-5) makes his first start since Preakness day, when he was second behind the impressive Nasty Habits. He outfinished future stakes winner Mirahmadi that day. While he hasn’t raced in a while, he has the biggest upside in the field, and should be able to handle these. #3 Laddie Dance (8-1) rallied and just missed in a blanket finish first off a three-month break last out. While has more modest connections than Magic Express and hasn’t been keeping as flashy of company, his figures are just a tick below those of his main rival, and he’ll be a strong contender at a good price if that one doesn’t fire. #1 Coringa (7-2) was an impressive maiden winner two starts ago, then gave the much-hyped Exploration all he could handle at this level last out. J.G. Torrealba gets the call for the first time; we’ll see if he tries to protect rail position like Jaime Rodriguez did last time.
RACE 5: STARTER OPTIONAL CLAIMING $20,000, 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 6 FURLONGS
4-6-5-3

#4 Full Irish (4-1) ran about as well has he could from off the pace given the speed-biased track last out. He ran huge in his prior races on this track, and will be hard to beat on a fair strip. #6 He’s in Charge (9-5) makes his first start since January 8, with some solid recent workouts for Jamie Ness under his belt. He’s run at least an 87 in each of his last three races, the only one in the field to do so, but he’s never raced on this track and is coming off a longer break than the other contenders. He’s worth using in the pick 5, but you’d need a good price to bet him to win. #5 Whiskey and You (8-1), has run well at good prices at this level lately. He gets reunited with J.G. Torrealba, who recently rode him to a strong second-place finish over Laddie Dance.
RACE 6: CLAIMING $7,500 (CONDITIONED), 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 7 FURLONGS
7-2-6-8
#7 Midnight Renegade (3-1) ran his best race in a while last out, saving all the ground he could and coming up the rail to win at a mile last out. He gets the slight nod in a wide-open group. #2 Alilnalot (9-5) gets reunited with Jaime Rodriguez, who rode him to victory here last November, and profiles as the main speed. #6 Cajun Dream (8-1) takes a drop in class from starter optional claiming company for his first start in seven weeks, and has great late pace figures. He might slide through the cracks in the betting and prove one of the keys to a juicy late pick 5.
RACE 7: CLAIMING $20,000, 3-YEAR-OLDS, FILLIES, 1 1/16 MILES
5-2-3-1
#5 Gotanotherthingcomn (5-2) was dismal last out, but she also hadn’t had a local workout between that race and shipping up here from Brittany Russell’s Fair Grounds base. She’s worked twice at Fair Hill since then, and broke her maiden on this track last year. We may not have seen her best yet. #2 Fitness (4-1) led briefly last out before fading, and crossed the wire first against winners two starts back before being disqualified. Without much other speed in the race, she’s likely to be put into play early, and has a chance to take them gate-to-wire. #3 Tres Aires (2-1) has won her last two starts, including a win at this level last out, and has shown improved form since being taken further off the early pace.
RACE 8: ALLOWANCE OPTIONAL CLAIMING (N/W2X), 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, 5 1/2 FURLONGS
5-2-1-3
#5 S S Sinatra (5-2) ran his eyeballs out in the Not For Love Stakes last out. He kept the very fast Speedyness off the rail and engaged with that rival all the way. Circle P, who sat off the duel, got up in the last jump to win by a nose, but S S Sinatra outfinished Speedyness by a half-length with a career-best 100. He might bounce off a race like that, but he ran in the 90s in his prior two races as well, and he can afford to lose a few points and still win. #2 Tenebris (9-2) has by far the best early pace figures in the race, and has run well despite pace pressure in his last few starts. He’s fast enough to possibly sneak away to a clear lead here, and there’s no one on his inside to keep him off the rail. #1 Radical Right (4-1) chased Tenebris last out and grabbed third second off a 5 1/2-month layoff. He’ll enjoy a nice trip off the pace on the rail; the only possible downside is getting blocked at the top of the lane.
RACE 9: CLAIMING $25,000 (N/W2L), 4-YEAR-OLDS AND UP, FILLIES AND MARES, 6 FURLONGS
3-5-2-4
#3 Cluck Cluck (7-2) lost as brutal a photo finish as you can get last out, finishing second by the barest of noses. She was claimed for $12,500 out of that race by Claudio Gonzalez, and though it’s a step up in class on paper, her figures are still superior to those of the others. #5 Just the Thing (9-2) is 1-for-27 lifetime, but she’s been getting checks at this level and should run on well late. #2 Whatsyourbigidea (5-2) goes second off a three-month layoff, and ran a mild fourth in her first try off the bench with a 72. A few more points of improvement makes her a contender.
