The goat, the Fritchie, and Dontletsweetfoolya

Two-time stakes winner Dontletsweetfoolya is heading into next weekend’s Grade 3 Fritchie with a secret weapon — a new goat friend named Doris.

Jockey Feargal Lynch, away since July with serious injuries sustained in a fall, was back in the saddle this afternoon at Laurel Park.

Risk Taking won the Withers, while Candy Man Rocket took the Sam F. Davis, both horses earning 10 points on the Kentucky Derby trail.

Trainer Claudio Gonzalez sent out four winners Friday at Laurel Park to seize the top spot in the trainer standings.

Jockey Victor Carrasco, injured January 29, will be off his mounts this weekend but is expected back in the saddle next weekend.
