Monmouth Park announces 56-day sked for 2020

Monmouth Park will race 56 dyas in 2020, and among its 12 graded stakes, the G1 Haskell Invitational will take place July 18.

Laurel-based Grade 2 winner Still Having Fun on Saturday had his final work in preparation for next week’s G3 General George.

High winds forced Laurel Park to cancel its eight-race Friday card after four races had been completed.

Parx-based Blue Eyed Girl made her first trip to Laurel Park a winning one. Her second will come in the Grade 3 Barbara Fritchie Feburary 15.

Regally bred young stallion Long River had his first foal this month, a colt out of an American Lion mare.
