Solid group set to contest Light Hearted Stakes

A wide-open field of nine is slated to run in the Light Hearted at Delaware Park Wednesday, the season’s first stake at Delaware Park.

Riders ranging in age from from 2 to 80 participated in the weekend’s Canter for the Cause at Old Hilltop.

Parx Racing has received safety accreditation from the NTRA for the first time, the group announced.

This week’s Off to the Races radio will include Colonial Downs track announcer Jason Beem and Preakness-winning trainer Mark Casse.

Multiple G3 winner Pure Sensation and former Penn Oaks winner Dynatail headline two MATCH Series turf stakes Saturday at Penn National.
