Daylight Ahead hangs on in Jameela win

Daylight Ahead went to the lead and held off her rivals to win today’s Jameela Stakes at Laurel Park.

The annual Totally Thoroughbred show, to benefit the Beyond the Wire horse retirement program, is Sunday at Pimlico.

O Dionysus, unraced since April, may make his return in the Concern Stakes at Laurel Park in July.
